Marcos is a political strategist and national leader of the Puerto Rican Diaspora. Marcos has worked in Chicago, Washington, D.C. and several cities in Florida as well as in Puerto Rico, where he has designed and implemented innovative and groundbreaking programs and campaigns in government, labor and non-profit settings. He has worked on civic engagement campaigns in Florida since 2002, focusing on the Puerto Rican and Hispanic communities.

Susanne Peña has been an educator in the K-20 setting for over 20 years. She started her career as a teacher in Title I schools in the New York City Department of Education. She has served as District Coordinator for ESL, Bilingual Program & World Languages for the Amityville Union Free School District. In addition to monitoring the implementation of regulations, she supervised and assisted teachers (grades K-12) to align curriculum and instruction to meet the rigor of the CCLS (Common Core Learning Standards) and Bilingual Common Core Language Arts Progressions. She also served as an instructional coach, supervisor, and evaluator of bilingual and ENL (English as a New Language) teachers at Amityville School District and was the Dual Language Program Coordinator (PK through 8th grade) at PS/IS 180M in Harlem, NY. Ms. Peña has also held the position of Adjunct Instructor at Brooklyn College for Bilingual and Multicultural Education.
She has also held the position of Director/Project Manager for the Dual Language STEPS (Support Through Technology Enhanced Programs and Strategies) Grant at the University of Central Florida.

Ms. Peña is the lead education consultant at SMP Education Consulting and a project member of Florida International University Creating TLC grant from the Department of Education’s Office of English Language Acquisition. She is currently the President of the Florida Association for Bilingual Education (FABE). She is also pursuing her doctorate in Adult Education with a concentration in Social Justice at the Kansas State University.

Dr. Luis Martínez-Fernández is a historian, university professor, author, consultant, and public speaker, whose fields of expertise include Latin America, the Caribbean, and Latinos in the United States. Born in Havana, Cuba, and raised in Lima, Peru, and San Juan, Puerto Rico, he holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in History from the University of Puerto Rico and a Ph.D. in History from Duke University. In March 2019, Martínez-Fernández joined the Board of Directors of the National Council for History
Education and assumed the role of Board Secretary; and in July 2020, was elected to the Academy of Cuban History in Exile. He currently serves on the boards of Alianza Center, the International Board of Advisors of United Planets, and the National Society of Newspaper Columnists.

Fabiola Gomez Miliani is a psychologist graduated from the Central University of Venezuela with a Masters in Special Education from the University of South Florida.  Passionate about the importance of education in the early years  she has served as a preschool teacher for children with neurodiversity and  as an Early interventionist for children under 3 years of age  since  2000.   Because of her commitment to the community of her native Venezuela, she joins Casa de Venezuela Orlando where she has served as a link between many Hispanic and Anglo-American organizations, coming to realize projects for the benefit and citizen participation, assistance to the most needy and highlighting of the values and contribution of immigrants to society. Volunteer for Amnesty International and former Board member of Warm Welcoming Arms. Three times recipient of   the Teacher of the year award , the Lawton Chiles Early Intervention Angel Award, and  a special recognition from the City of Orlando.

Tomas F. Ramos operates and owns TFR Services, LLC which has been serving disadvantaged minority communities in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Puerto Rico since its inception in 2009. Tomas Services is a minority-owned firm that provides comprehensive financial advisory services and access to capital to minority-owned (concentration on Hispanic) small businesses and real estate projects throughout urban communities. He also Services has a track record of securing financing from regional and community banks, CDFIs, and other lenders to bring the best financial solution for entrepreneurs so that businesses can successfully grow, create/retain jobs for local residents, and provide goods and services to its target community which is located in areas of high economic distress. Mr. Ramos received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Middlebury College and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
