Summer, Cameras, Action!

Investing in our youth & creating future leaders

The Alianza Center Summer Camp Program offers a high-quality, engaging personal growth experience for youth in Orange County. By emphasizing arts and culture, we aim to bolster self-esteem and prevent violence. Our program instills a sense of personal responsibility in the youth, encouraging them to be stewards of our environment and to become positive contributors to their communities. With the Latino population in Orange County having grown steadily in recent years, our mission is to provide a place where all youth can immerse themselves in Latino arts and culture. This allows them to connect across racial and economic divides, fostering unity in the protection of our communities and environment.

Alianza Center Summer Camp offers an affordable program, ranging from low-cost to free, centered on the culture and sports of both the Puerto Rican and the broader Latino community. We have created a space where students and parents from diverse backgrounds can participate in environmentally-focused and culturally-rich activities. These activities are designed to promote social engagement, civic responsibility, and leadership.

Our program boasts a fun and enriching curriculum that fosters collaboration, engagement, reflection, and discovery. Catering to students from grades K-12, we also involve parents to enhance the camp experience at home. Participants can expect high-quality experiences including lessons on environmental sustainability, cultural awareness, art appreciation, leadership, and civic engagement. Additionally, they can partake in a variety of activities such as sports, performing arts, music, writing, arts and crafts, and much more.
