Javier Figueroa was born in San Juan PR, and he grew up in Vega Baja, Manatí. When he was young his mother decided to move to New Jersey and raise her two children, his older brother and him. After leaving a few years in New Jersey he returned to Puerto Rico where he finished his studies and graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in preschool and elementary education. He was a teacher for a few years until he got sick. Currently, Javier lives in Apopka FL, and works for the Alianza Center Organization.
